Airtel 4G India

Mobile, Telecom, Network etc, these are the terms which I believe almost every person use in there life. Selecting telecom provider is one of the biggest tasks. There are many people those who believe that Airtel or Bharti Airtel is one of the biggest players in India. Yes it is true. 100% true.

But the question arises that:
IS AIRTEL OR BHARTI AIRTEL in India is giving basic service to their customers.

My answer is a BIG NO. You heard it right A BIG NO.

Supporting my above statement that Airtel is not providing even basic services to their customer I will quote my example only. Since Airtel has launched 4G service they are claiming it the best in all.

I purchased a WIFI Router back in almost 18 months back and made my life miserable. They told me that it will get activated with in 4 hours but failed to do so. It happen no issues at all. Punching documents in system, doing verification etc takes time I do understand. But why make false promises to any innocent customer. Just to make a sale. (Please note: if any sales person is making any promise to you doesn't matter what you are buying get a written document for that or if it is not in written DO NOT BELIEVE them AT ALL).

Coming back to the issues, after 3-4 days my 4G WIFI got activated. Thanks to the argument I had with their store people at Panchkula Sector 11, and threat to return documents and my money back.

Network Issue: Here starts the actual issue. Just after few days of activation, speed came down and it was worst or not even speed getting on mobiles with 2G. Frequent network disconnection was additional befit I got with Airtel 4G from Bharti Airtel. . So every now and then I start calling their helpline and you know what I got answers “Sir, it is only because of technical Updation in server due to which internet connection speed is slow”. What about frequent disconnection then? No one gave the answer. Compliant and complaint and compliant and so on. Do not panic friends only 10-15 complaints in 5-6 months. Not a big concern for Airtel team you know. You know consumer is free all the time to make complaints.

Device issue: On call their phone representative and their engineer, I was told that there is a device issue and that need to be change. Hey did you get that. Just on a simple PHONE CALL they were manage to find out the issue I was facing. So brilliant they are. Isn’t they are. Yes should be the answer people. MAMA MIA. So what next! I was told to contact the team who are manufacturing the routers I believe somewhere in New Delhi (please make a note am residing in Panchkula, Delhi is only 350 kms far from my compound, LOL). Oh yeah statement was supported by their escalation manager Mr. Ba****ee too (sorry do not want to share the full name). It seems as per Airtel team including manager it is Not a Big Task for a consumer to travel 350 kms for such a small issue, you know. ;-)

Airtel Store Panchkula: After few months of calls etc I realized it is of no use calling them I should contact directly to store and should submit a written complaint. As per Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (will mention as TRAI further) no telecom provider can deny taking complaint of a consumer. But as we all know that Airtel is one of the major players in telecom sector they do not follow TRAI guidelines. They make their own guidelines and follow them strictly as a Bible. WHO IS TRAI? IT’S ALL ABOUT BHARTI AIRTEL. Hats Off! Result was they deny bluntly taking my written complaint. 

Airtel’s TAT or turn around time: As per Airtel people, whom so ever I contacted, their standard turn around time to sort out the issue is 2-3 days, which unfortunately never completes. So please make sure you keep yourselves free to take follow ups. 

Airtel Billing Plan Change: It is not over yet my dear users. Changing billing plans on calls on Airtel Customer Care is very easy. Anyone in this world can make a call from any number on customer care to change your billing plan or may be any other details. What! Did I hear that you are saying authentication is required to do so? Oh Come on friends don’t talk about TRAI guideline I told you previously Airtel do not follows the same. You know BIG PLAYERS in telecom market :-) . Need a proof want to listen the call recording. I can provide that too. I have all proofs.

Never Give Up: Since my childhood I was taught never give up. So I am now in consumer forum against AIRTEL. I will not give up. No Never. NOT AT ALL.

* Please note that all Telecom companies in India are under jurisdiction of consumer forums. Anyone who needs support to fight against Telecom Company can contact me. I will try my level best to help you or to support you. Thanks for reading my wonderful experience with AIRTEL. Hope you guys will share this within your peer group. I will pray GOD you guys don’t face such wonderful experience at all.        
